I’ll flag a rep to see if anything can be done about it if it was indeed just a quick accidental flip.

Hi @Jkidding

Just to double check, are you referring to the last bill issued or to the pending bill?

If you are referring to the pending bill, please let us know once the bill is issued and we will look into it further.

For more info about how to prevent accidental roaming charges, please check out this article https://community.koodomobile.com/plans-services-232910/easy-roam-understanding-how-you-will-be-charged-while-traveling-7811296

To avoid this from happening again, you can simply remove your Koodo SIM card or disable the eSIM. You may also want to turn off data roaming on your phone.

I was using an e-sim. Had it as primary. Noticed my other had switched on when we landed. I had had the roaming shut off on it. And in the 84 hours it took me to get home I quite nearly recall the notification when I got off the plane.

The notification doesn’t mean that you used and were charged for using anything. It just means that your Koodo sim connected to a non-canadian tower.

If you see charges on your next bill you can feel free to reply back in this thread.
