I ran into something with the perk system that honestly doesn’t make much sense.
I’m on a plan that already includes Canada, US, and Mexico roaming with data, talk, and text. But when I go to choose my perk, one of the options is still “3-day Easy Roam US”.
At that point… what is that perk even supposed to do?🙄
US roaming is already included in the plan, so this ends up being a perk that adds zero value. And since we only get to pick one, it basically means one of the options doesn’t apply depending on the plan you’re on.
It really feels like the perk list isn’t adapted at all and everyone just gets the same options, even when some of them clearly overlap with what’s already included.
This seems like a missed opportunity to offer something more relevant instead. For example, Koodo already has “Number Share” for smartwatches, which people ask about all the time. A perk like that would make a lot more sense here than something that duplicates what the plan already includes.
Right now it just feels like I’m being asked to pick a perk where one of the choices doesn’t apply to me at all.
Anyone else notice this?
