I am located in Canada and currently have 100GB of data and unlimited US & Canada calling on my current phone plan.

I am travelling to Europe for 30 days. If I purchase the 30 day Easy Roam travel pass, will this give me access to the 100GB of data on my plan AND unlimited phone calls and texting while I’m in Europe?

Am I correct in understanding that the only phone calls that would be covered under the travel pass would be to the European country that i’m currently in AND Canada & US since they are covered on my original plan?

ie. If i’m in Spain, am I good to call someone else that’s in Spain, Canada or the US and this would be covered under the travel pass?

But if i’m in Spain, and call someone in the UK then I will be charged the daily Europe roaming rate?

there are few detail that you might want to read here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/easy-roam?

  • You can use minutes and data in your phone. However that can be applied to Canadian number and the number of countries that you are travelling into. Calling an US number will trigger long distance calling fee. The same is applied for SMS.
  •  if you are in Spain, and if you call someone in UK, you will be charged with Long-distance fee (in addition to easyroam)

Yes, I have a Canadian phone number. So when I’m in Spain, calls to Canada and Spain would fall under the easy roam travel pass? Calls to anywhere else while i’m in Spain would incur the daily easy roam charge?

Eh, the travel pass is actually easyroam at a discounted price. Easyroam only covers what it said in the link.

If you called else where, pay per use long distance fee will apply. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/payperuse?

I just wanted to make sure what the travel pass covers as it says in this link

“Enjoy using your phone while traveling. Access your monthly rate plan, including unlimited talk and text, when you purchase an Easy Roam Travel Pass.”

So does this indeed mean my usual plan as I mentioned above with the data AND unlimited phone calls and texting? Does “unlimited talk” mean “unlimited phone calls” ?

Which plan do you have?

The sentence  means if your plan has “unlimited talk and text”, you will be able to use it. BUT the “unlimited” is only applicable to Canadians and the local number as per the conditions of easyroam.
