First how can Only a call forwarding be used on a prepaid account and at the same time Prepaid accounts don’t have this functionality?  

Begs the question is there call forwarding on a prepaid account?

Secondly, if there is call forwarding on a prepaid account can you confirm the monthly. charges are $3.00 plus $0.60 per minute for each call forwarding, plus can you confirm if the one minute is actually. for 60 seconds used or is it for any number of seconds 60 and below? So if the call is 19 second the charge is $0.60 or is it $0.60/60*19 or $0.19 for a 19 sec call?  Then also if the call is 1 minute and 1 second is the charge $1.20 or is it $0.61?

There is call forwarding but as I understand it, uncondtional call forwarding is not supported with Koodo prepaid atm. So it should call forward still after being busy or x number of rings, but not immediately as uncondtional would. I could flag a rep to confirm on the matter of conditional call forwarding.

The rate given is per minute and is not pro-rated. Any usage of 1-59 seconds will count as a full minute in terms of billing.

Prepaid Koodo customers can only use Call Forward non-reachable. It forwards incoming calls to another number if the phone is non-reachable (local or long distance — excluding USA and international).

Note: Unconditional call forwarding is NOT available for Koodo Prepaid customers.

How it works

  • If the phone is call forwarded, Text Messages are still delivered to the phone.
  • Call forwarding to an 800 number is permitted. LD is not charged when Call Forwarding to 800 numbers.

Conditions

  • Call forwarding to the U.S. or international number is NOT permitted.
  • To enable call forwarding, the customer must have the capability to receive calls with his base plan or booster.
  • Requires a Volte compatible device connected to VoLTE for activation and deactivation. 

Billing

  • Only the talk time of an incoming call deducts time from the customer’s voice booster.
  • Customers with a base plan that includes unlimited incoming calls will not be charged and their voice booster will not be depleted.
