changed plan not working

I upgraded a plan on my account for 50gb Instead of 20gb. When i log into my account it shows 59gb but I haven’t had any more data it is asking me to purchase more for 25$/gb and tells me I’m still at 20gb. When can I expect for the change to take place it has been more than 24 hours

Depending on your billing cycle, your data will be pro-rated.  If you changed your plan half way through your billing cycle, then your new data bucket will be half until your next billing cycle.
