change plan and add on

My daughter’s plan is $35/10GB. 
This month she used up all the data and has purchased three add-on of 1 GB each time for $75 in total!

her current billing cycle will end the day after tomorrow. can she change her plan now to $50/40 GB now?

If she can do so, can the new plan take effect immediately so that her monthly fee becomes $50, but she won’t be charged $75 for add-on?

Your advice is most appreciated!

It doesn't work that way. The previous charge would stay. So you would still have to pay for 3*1Gb addon that you requested.

You could change the plan now, and the new plan would be active . However you would only access a partial amount of data in the plan depending on how many days you had left in the current billing cycle. It would be 40gb/30 x number of days left.
