I travelled abroad with no easyroam activated and Koodo charged me 75$ before the plane even hit the ground. I was connected to the network for 5 minutes, i was not using my phone at all, my phone was doing something in the background. 75$ for nothing. Outrageous.
If easyroam was activated, it would have cost 18$. The cost of a month of data abroad is 15$. Again just outrageous.
I am leaving Koodo asap.
+4Which destination did you go to? Pay peruse rate is very expensive though. Few MB of data can be very expensive.
As of now, since you didn’t have easyroam before you travel, the charge is legit. If you would like to ask for goodwill credit, you have to schedule a call back and ask a rep to look into it
