360 day plans are not available for existing prepaid customers

My needs have changed, and as my yearly balance is due for next year I noticed that if you’re not a koodo customer, you have access to a couple 360d prepaid plans, both of which are SUBSTANTIALLY cheaper than for existing customers of a 360d prepaid plan. In fact, if you’re an existing prepaid customer, and logged in, there are NO 360 prepaid plans available any longer, and the cheapest 30d option is twice the cost of a 360d plan.

Way to reward existing customers for loyalty!

I suggest requesting a callback via koodo assist to have a rep assign you a 360 day plan

Koodo does indeed offer 360-day prepaid plans (sorry, was wrong).  Some existing prepaid customers often don't see them in self-serve; check login.koodomobile.com to see what's available for you.
That's just standard telecom strategy: better deals for new customers to grab market share, while loyalty gets monthly plans, like $29 for 30 days with 33GB. If you need a workaround, grab a cheap SIM for a second line as a "new" customer, or keep an eye out for self-serve switches; some people say current customers can access them there.

This when I go to koodo prepaid when not signed in. It certainly looks like they offer 360d plans unless I”m missing something.

Cheers, thanks, but I tried using that chatbot 10min. ago and it said it couldn’t help me.  I didn’t use the magic words “schedule callback”, just ‘chat with live agent” and variants on that. Thanks!
