Question

2GB data used warningsd

My plan includes 50GB of shock proof data.

However, I keep getting warnings saying I'm near to 2GB used data, and it shows from 0 to 2 indicating my limit is 2GB.

So how does that work?

Koodo’s 2GB data warning is a default alert threshold, not your actual plan limit. Even with a 50GB Shock Proof plan, the system may notify you at 2GB as an early usage warning to help monitor data use. It does not reflect your real data cap, which remains 50GB. You can just ignore the 2GB warning if you prefer or adjust alert settings in your MyKoodo account if available. The 0-2GB shown isn’t your limit but the warning range triggering alerts.

Is the warning / limit told to you through a text message?

or is the limit you're seeing shown in your device settings and not online at koodo self serve.

Hi @Teggyman62, your data is active and available, you can check the usage section in your online account for details.

A lot of phones have a 2GB data warning set as default. You can increase or disable it in your phone settings under Network & internet > Mobile Network > Koodo> Data warning & limit.
