that’s correct as long as you take it out before and after you arrive in Canada. Once you get close to the US border or use a US tower is when you get charged.

Sorry I forgot to say you WONTÂ get charged as long as you remove the sim before and after you leave Canada lol
Note that your regular monthly charges with your plan will still continue, even if you dont use it.
