Why am I not receiving verification texts from 2 betting sites? Does Koodo filter these out?
No, Koodo doesn’t stop any messages. Did you check your phone spam settings?

If you know the numbers in question, try sending a prompt message like HELP or INFO to each of them to check if you receive a response.
The problem is that I'm not receiving them. One site sends a verification in order to sign up. The other is for a site that I have an account for that has 2FA. I need to get the text to access my account.
I only have Spam blocked for calls. I did turn it off just to make sure. Nothing else is blocked.
Do you know the numbers that would be sending you the messages, have you received messages from these numbers before?
If so, please try the method described in my previous message. If you do not know what numbers would be used you would need to contact these services and find out as our tech support team would need them in case they have to log a ticket for this.

No, I don't know the numbers. It's automated, 2FA verification. Thanks for suggestions but I already tried the steps from that page. I tried contacting their support which was a 'live chat'. They didn't have a clue. I finally found a way to email them and explained the problem, at least for the site where I have an account with. I'll wait for their response. Thank you for your help.

This was the problem. The customer service for the one sites I had an account with mentioned that and told me to send a text to, I should have remembered the number, a 5 digit number and type “JOIN”. I did that and it solved the problem. At some point, I must have gotten a text from a 5 digit number that I thought was a scammer and I replied to the text with “STOP”. That’s what caused the problem. I remembered this post and knew there was a good chance that it was the problem. Thank you for your help.
The issue has been fixed.
