I already have a sim mailed to me from koodo previously. I don’t want to pay an extra $10 to sign up and get another sim card for no reason. Anyway I can sign-up without the sim online?

Unfortunately it is unavoidable.
The alternative is singing up in store and they will charge you $60 for the connection fee.
