A sales representative called me to offer the stream + subscription they offer. Unfortunately the sales person seemed to only give me the answers I wanted to hear and gave out wrong information. I was paying the extra fee to have a family member use my Netflix account at a different address, when I asked about being able to continue allowing them to use it they reassured me several times that yes, because it was the partnership they had with Netflix that allowed this sharing of accounts, she "apparently" asked a fellow employee about it to which they confirmed it was accurate information. This is not the case, after doing some research it's not even something they can offer at this time.

My only suggestions going forward is maybe train the sales reps better on what it is they are selling to their loyal customers, and also do your own research before agreeing to switch everything over. The savings would have been nice, but it no longer met my needs when this misinformation came to light. Sales people sometimes just say what you want to hear to make quota, or perhaps she was also just misinformed.  

Slightly frustrated with koodo, but issue has been resolved.

So Stream+ premium comes with the premium version of each of the subscriptions. The premium version of Netflix is the one that allows "Option to add up to 2 extra members who don't live with you" so if it was the Stream + basic the rep sold you then yes, they would have had their information mixed up.

If it was premium that they sold you then it should have been fine and it may have been another issue. I have the premium version and have not had an issue sharing the service so if you want to consider it again I'd recommend that one because as you said the savings are great.
