I moved to Türkiye for a month, but even though I removed my SIM card from my phone, I was still charged $18 three times. Can you refund this amount?

Did you physically remove the SIM card for the whole trip? Have you received any roaming SMS notification from Koodo at all? 

If you accidentally put the SIM back on the phone. I would recommend you check the usage in self-serve of Data/SMS/Call for those 3 days to see the reason from Koodo end. If you found it wasn’t correct, you could come back here and dispute.

But I haven't activated Easy Roam.

Easy Roam is on by default, otherwise you would be charged pay per use roaming instead.  Did you check your self serve to see if Easy Roam is on or off?

 


I took it off my Sim card  when I arrived in Turkey, but I never turned airplane mode on.

Let me flag a rep here to look into the detail of the roaming fee. If you actually removed the SIM out of the phone. There shouldn’t be any roaming fee.

When you log into self serve and download your detailed pdf ebill, what dates does you see the |three $18 charges?

We have looked into it and based on the details we see on the PDF bill, there was usage for calls the days the roaming charges were incurred.

When you check your call log history on your phone, what do you see for those dates when the charges were incurred?
