Question

problems after porting a number over.

My wife just ported her Fido number over to Koodo.

The port was successful, but the eSIM is still showing the number that Koodo gave it. It's been a few days and no change. I can call and text her at the ported number with no issues, but sometimes pictures show up for her in a group text with the ported number and the original eSIM number.

Also, the system won't let her pick her perk

Thanks,

Fischoli

Hi @Fischoli

We can look into it from our end,  is your wife’s line on your account or on a different account?

If your wife is on a different account, she can start a post here on the community using the self serve login option in the community login page and we can assist.

Regarding the phone number not being updated in the phone, did your wife try to reset the network settings in the phone settings?

She has her own account, so she'll have to post.

We've tried turning the eSIM off and on,  and when we have a minute we're going to try turning airplane mode on for a bit.

Otherwise, I can't really find the network settings to reset.

It's a Samsung Galaxy a17 5G.

Got it!

The option to reset the network settings should be somewhere in the Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings

For texting and calling (incoming and outgoing), does the number appear and work correctly?
