I am currently with simplyconnect and just purchased a koodo plan. Initially I had a shared account under my name. The rep opened two account with temporary numbers, that we can port our original numbers to later (stated that they couldn't do it at the moment since alot of people were doing it at the moment). My question is: Is there are problems with me porting over my numbers by myself online. The one thing that I am worried about is what would happen if I port one number over, would the account be quickly terminated, not allowing for me to transfer the second number in time? Do both numbers need to be transferred simultaneously by a rep? Also, since it was previously a shared account, would the name I put on the transfer form be my own name for both?

The old account will not be cancelled as long as there are any numbers still active. Once all numbers have been ported over the old account will be closed.
AFAIK, if both names appear on the original account, the port request can be submitted under either name.
