How can I pair my cellphone with my building's entry code assigned to my apartment?

Doesn't the building entry code need to call your phone?

Your building manager should tell you how to set that up

When I ask my building manager, super and assistant super, they just shrug their shoulders.

Generally speaking, if your building allows it, it would something the building manager or whoever handles that for your building would have to setup. You’d just have to give them your phone number.

Maybe you can reach out to a neighbour and see if they have had the same issues/how to do it?

Management of my building are too cheap to upgrade, let alone update these 40+ year old buildings.

It's not something that Koodo can assist with. If it's such a legacy system that it requires a landline, you and others in your building should meet together to insist on a replacement / upgrade. Cellphones have been an option for building entry codes for a couple decades.

Goran, you don't know these people in these buildings. Most are seniors who don't know what a cellphone is and the others avoid anything having to do with the building that they live in, as long as they have a roof over their heads. Plus, I'm avoided by the majority of the tenants because I speak up.

If the intercom is that old, it might only work with a landline.  Newer system can just accept any phone number to dial, and those will work fine with a mobile.

That's what I thought also. They'd have to rewire the entire building.

Thanks anyways.
