I seem to be getting all calls and text/imessages from individual people. But in group imessage, I only get about 80% of the messages. Therefore, I get confused when I only get messages 1,2,5,6 etc in a thread. Would appreciate any help!

Is this only one group? You could try leaving and rejoining.

Were the options “send as sms” on in your phone message settings? As well, Did you MMS work normally? What phone the other person was using?
Group messaging is also a tricky issue as it depends on whoever sending the messages as well. IPhone and Android mix wouldn't always work. I recommend you try whatapp or facebook messaging.
