Tried to make a call today on home phone and it was dead.

Turned the home home off than on and it keep up with the signal bar all red.

Got a dial tone, but then it died again.

Tried Koodo assist, click on “I am a Koodo customer” and no further prompt.

Looked up what to do if Koodo assist is not working.

Try the community?

Well here I am community, can you fix my home phone? (note: this is sarcasm)

Got a prompt for a survey in the middle of creating this.

Suggested that Koodo needs another method of communication for something like this.

I can’t schedule a call back, can I?

It is working now, but there was another time this happened and it was a problem with the cell tower.

I had to use my neighbor’s phone who has Bell.

Yes you can indeed schedule a callback. Koodo Assist should have worked. If it didn’t, that was likely a momentary glitch. Did you try refreshing the page, restarting the browser, clearing browser cache, etc? Deeper technical support would require a callback. This seems like a bit of an intermittent issue. If last time was signal issues, it sounds worth it to schedule a callback again the next time to see if it was a cell tower issue or something else.

I am glad it is working. Though the issue makes sense. If the Telus network isn’t available where you live, then it will use the Bell network instead. If the tower goes down, you’re out of luck. Though you should be able to schedule a call, it may have just been temporarily unavailable.

In the community there are reps on this platform as well. It is not just Koodo customers like you and I, so they can help troubleshoot the issue if you have it again or get in contact with their technical support team to assist. So, this platform isn’t as bad as it sounds, though the rep's abilities are a bit more limited.

In future though you can try here or you can private message a rep via Koodo’s social media pages if you can’t get a callback. The correct pages can be found by clicking the associated logos at the bottom of this page for Facebook and X (Twitter). That’s about it for other options of contact if you don’t have cell service besides visiting a store, but there are options.

I can’t schedule a call back without a phone to call back to.

I did not mean that I used my neighbor’s Bell service to get my home  phone working, I meant I used their phone to call Koodo.

Anyway, I will try Facebook next time.
