Is it possible to disable "sent by ..." when you open a new voicemail?

Whenever I open a voicemail, it starts with "New voicemail, sent by 'x-xxx-xxx-xxxx'." It only lasts a few seconds, but it feels redundant considering I can just check the caller's number on my phone app.

I've previously used Fido and Virgin, and they didn't have this message. Is there a way to disable it on Koodo?

You could actually. Call your voicemail, Select access Personal option “4” > “4” (personal preference) > “2” (play back preference) > “2” (caller ID before messages) and turn it off.

is there a way to just chose to skip it instead of turning it off? sometimes it would be nice to hear the number, sometimes I just want to skip

I don't think there is a option allowing you to do that. You could check the call history for the number though.
