Internet subscription activation

Hello 

I ordered an internet subscription at the end of Februrary, with a scheduled start date of March 31.  My concern is that it is nearly March 31 and I have not received an activation email.  Is it normal for an activation email to be sent so late?

I have received the equipment a few days after subscribing.

No official timeline for activation emails on Koodo home internet, but they usually arrive close to or even after your scheduled date; especially since you already have the equipment.

Plug in the modem to your coax outlet now and check the lights. If the downstream and upstream lights are solid, it might be live early. Service often starts a few days before the official date based on what people report here.

Log into Self Serve to see if anything shows under internet services, or look around for activation options there. Still nothing by Monday? Reply with your modem model, lights status, and order confirmation details so we can figure out next steps.

Normally, it would be a couple of business days after singing up that you would receive your activation email, possibly longer if there is issues activating the service with the third party koodo uses.

As it has pretty much been a month, you should have received one by now. You can assume that your original activation date will be full filled, but I don’t think it would hurt to schedule a callback and check with a rep to see if there are any issues. You can do so from the link below.

The service will not activate early. In addition, if you plug in the equipment before the date, it won’t work as well, the service is not active.
