internet activation

Hello, I paid for an internet subscription on Dec 4. I’ve gotten my Router and modem set up in the mail but still haven’t received any activation information. This is kind of frustrating.

Just to confirm, have you checked your junk/spam email to see if anything was sent there? https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/ordering-online
As well, was there any coaxial port in your location? if a tech visit is needed, the activation date might be depended on that.

If you paid for Koodo internet on Dec 4 and got your router and modem but no activation info yet, most likely your service activation is still pending or a technician visit is needed to complete setup. Check your Self Serve account for the activation date and address details for any errors, as activation can be delayed if those aren’t set correctly or if a tech appointment is needed to connect the line physically, especially with coax setups. If the activation date has passed and no service, you can try scheduling a callback with Koodo Assist to get status updates or confirm activation steps.

Yes I have coaxial and haven’t received any information about a tech visit. No details at all only my order receipt. 
 

I’ve checked my spam and junk and there is nothing in there…

When you ordered the service, what was the initial activation date that you had chosen? Has this date already passed?

If you have passed that original activation date, you may need to schedule a callback with Koodo’s internet team to see if there was any hiccups with the service activation. There can be many reasons as to why the service is not working.

I have tried to schedule a call back but nothing yet. This service isn’t leaving a good taste for me already.

As Oliver mentioned the rep should’ve told you an activation date when you first signed up. You should also have received an email with the activation date.

Under normal conditions, you have to wait at minimum a week from purchase for it to be activated but if things are busier or if you chose later, then it could be longer than a week as well.

If you purchased on Dec 4th, at the earliest you should be looking at a Dec 11th activation.

@Jmccourt  We received feedback from our team that the email will be sent as soon as the date is confirmed. We also noticed that you got a chance to speak with the Koodo internet team as well and they are looking into it.  Keep us posted if you receive an update within 24-48 hours.

If that’s the case, that is brutal service. I’ve received 0 information.
