I recently traveled to Barbados and texted “CAR7PASS” to 7626 and received a message back stating that i’d successfully added Caribbean and Mexico easy roam travel pass. I checked my bill when I got home and I was still charged the $18 a day for easy roam without the travel pass. Did I do something wrong?

Did you use your phone right after texting the code? The pass only activates when you first use data, call, or text in the country.
If you used your phone before the pass activated, you might get charged for those days.
Check your Koodo account online; see if the travel pass shows as active during your trip.
If it does and you’re still charged, post a screenshot of your usage and charges here. Might need to flag a rep.
+4When you sent the text to add the travel pass, you were roaming at normal easyroam rate. Hence the fee applied.
It is advised that you add the travel pass before you leave Canada or ask a rep to do it while overseas.

I’ll check that, thank you! I should have mentioned that I activated travel pass on the 14th of November and left Canada on the 16th.

I couldn't find Barbados listed there! It might be the reason why you were charged for normal roaming fee
