I am expecting a call from the US is this included in my basic plan?
I have basic plan - does this include US calls ? how does that work

It depends on your plan.
But if you are receiving an incoming call, there are no long distance fees as long as you are in your home area.
If your plan has limited minutes then if will use your normal talk minutes
