Hi there,

How long has it been since you changed your number?

In self serve, is it showing the new number or the old one when you login, and in which situations does it show the old number? Only in the device settings or when you call or text someone?

And when you login to self serve, is it showing the number you switched to or the old number? When you call and text someone, does it show the old number or new one?

Some basic troubleshooting to try would be turning airplane mode on and then off again, resetting the device network settings, or turning off the device, removing the sim, reinsert the sim and turn the device back on.

Self serve has my new number. I have tried the airplane mode that didn’t change number.  I will need to get someone else to help me take out the sim card.

I see thank you for confirming. Besides taking out the sim card, can you reset your network settings?

This tends to fix a lot of problems regarding the nunber registered on the device. If you're not sure how, let me know the type of phone you have and I can walk you through it

Ah I see, in that case we can try resetting the network settings.

To do this on an A16, Go to Settings → Scroll down to general management and select it → go down to reset and select it → Select “Reset Mobile Network Settings” - > Hit “Reset Settings”.

What this does is it re-establishes your connection to the Koodo network and clears/updates the previous data that the device has from the network. Note, when you do this it will also reset any saved wifi settings or bluetooth devices.

If this does not fix the issue, restart the device a few times as it may need a second to update once the network settings have been reset.
