How to manage deceased account

Dear Koodo community,

My partner has recently passed away, and had her own Koodo mobile plan. 

I would like to retain her number and plan for the time being. I am the Executor of her will.

Is it best to reach out directly to the main Koodo number for help with this process?

I’m very sorry to hear about your loss. Is the account in your name or their own name?

To add on to what Sophia said, make sure to provide the account PIN or validate three pieces of information that Koodo has on file. It will likely be either her date of birth, driver’s license, last 3 digits of the SIN number, or the last 4 digits of the credit card.

@fluffair  So, unfortunately, the only way to keep that number is to keep it active with a rate plan, even if its a minimal plan. In order to do that you would have to complete a transfer of ownership and move the number into your account. If that is the route you would like to take, please let me know and I will provide you further information in Private.
