I’m looking at buying a newer phone from a private seller. Unfortunately, the SIM card from my S5 Neo is a “micro” and the phone I’m looking to test is an S24, which takes a nano card.
Is there any way I can get a nano card -- even temporarily -- to test the S24 before I commit to buying it?

so If you’re using an older micro only sim, you should actually purchase a newer koodo sim card, it comes with an adapter for all types of sim card sizes. So once your replace the sim on your account, you can actually punch out nano, try it, and if you decide against just push out the micro sim adapter and use the sim as a micro.
A sim card replacement is commonly $10 and once you have it, you can follow the steps the link below to replace it on your account. Once you do, its good to be used. The link also has a small graphic at the top that shows you what I mean.
Heads up, the s24 from the s5 will be an awesome upgrade if you choose to go with it.🙂👍

And yes, Oliver, I agree with your upgrade assessment. I’ve only had the S5 for a year. I bought that one used, too, and only found out from Koodo AFTER I bought it about this new VoLTE requirement, so I was not happy.
Unfortunately, the deal on the S24 fell through.
Initially, after hearing my story, the seller (a retired Cdn. military member) dropped the price from $600 to $200. So it would have been unbelievable discount on a phone like that. He even gave me the IMEI number beforehand so I could check online and make sure everything was legit.
It was pretty much unused and STILL IN THE ORIGINAL BOX. Turns out the guy bought it because Telus had it on sale and had a better data plan price than he had with his iPhone. But after he tried it for a day he definitely preferred his iPhone over Android.
When I met him to look at it, he couldn't remember his PIN for the phone and I of course didn't have the right size SIM. So we agreed to meet again sometime this week.
But yesterday someone else contacted him and offered the full $600 asking price, so of course he took it. (I can’t blame him; it's not like I gave him a deposit or told him to hold it for me.)
Oh well ... easy come, easy go. And I got the new Tri-SIM installed and activated, so I’ll be prepared for whatever phone I eventually end up with.
