dropped calls

For 3 months, several calls, I would say 7 or 8 out of 10 calls I take or try to make daily are dropped.  Even trying to listen to my own voice mail and the call drops. I haven’t moved, nothing has changed but the crap service from Koodo and I’ve been waiting weeks for their rep to call me back. Who else is experiencing this crap service?

How is your signal?  How many bars are you getting?  Is this an issue at home only or when you are out and about too?

at home its 2 bars, i live in the city. its worst at home then driving around within a hour of my home.  I’ve switched it to LTE and there is no difference.

Do your friends or family who use Koodo or Telus also have similar issues?

Which phone models are you using? have you checked if your phone is using VoLTE normally?

its a galaxy S24 FE. never had a problem with it until September. im the only idiot with Koodo. 15 plus years as a customer.  considering changing providers asap if this doesn’t get resolved. 

how do i check it its using volte correctly?

If it was working until September, Check out the cell tower site.  What is the noted closest tower to you and is there construction that could have taken down the tower?  This happened to me in downtown edmonton when the library was being renovated and the tower got taken down

Well there shouldn't be such major issues with Koodo except for some signal issues. Go to self serve, check your add-ons, look for VoLTE. If it's not there, see if it's an option. If it's not an option, let us know and we can flag a rep to add it to your account.
