The Netgear LM1200 Cellular Modem is designed to be a primary internet source for rural areas the cannot get any other form of high speed internet. It states it is compatible with :
LTE Category 4: Bands 2,4, 5, 12, 13, 14, 66, 71. 3G UMTS: Bands 2, 4 and 5
Uses a nano SD sim card.
I would like to be sure that this will work before I purchase one with a Koodo plan.

The device seems to be compatible with Koodo network.
However, if you are looking for internet option in rural area, I suggest you contact Telus. They have plans for that type of usage in certain area. Koodo plans are priced mainly for cell phone usage.
To add; while the modem should be compatible with Koodo, it seems the device caters specifically to AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile customers. I could be mistaken, but the device might be restricted to those networks only. Contact the seller to see if there are any network restrictions in place.
