disabling text alerts for voice mail messages

Hello Koodo group. According to Apple I have to turn off these alerts from my service provider. Can one of you fine folks please give me direction on this? Thank you

I believe you can disable it if you call 611 and follow the prompts to edit your voicemail settings.
