device care

I just got a used Samsung s20 + 5g about 1 month ago  from koodo
had it in a case from day one  had never dropped it 

i was cleaning it the other night and i noticed a crack on the back side 
i have the device care complete  what i pay 15 extra a month 
so i went and started the warranty
got to the end and it says to fix the phone i have to pay $200 or i can get another phone of the same kind for $400  
so the phone cost  $800 im paying so much a month  now on top of that there going to charge me more 
to get it fixed or replaced 

what f in good is this device care crap sorry just mad 
and every time i use the camera it say clean the lens  i can clean it a 100 time and it still says it

200 dollars to replace the back plae of the phone? Wow. That’s impressive. I honestly advise people against device care warranties in general and just save the money to use for a repair if needed. Some people want peace of mind but the deductibles seem to be creeping up over time.

All depends on how you look at it. $200 is better than $800.

Device care also comes with 24/7 tech support and unlimited cloud storage. As well battery replacements are free and screen replacements only have a $39 deductible. If the value isn’t there for you, it can be removed from your self serve account.

 

As well, I just took a look and I’m seeing $130 or $250 for fees for the S20 5G.
