Cancelling account for poor service

I’ve been attempting to add a tablet to my account for the last day and a half, and so far have scheduled two call backs, both of which I did not receive a call for. And now that I’m attemtping to close my account, Koodo Assist keeps running me in circles saying everyone is busy.

I used to love Koodo, but wow this has really peeved me. Anyone have any advice for actually getting through to someone?

Unfortunately to cancel, you’d have to schedule a callback.
If you’re looking at adding a line over the phone, you can also try calling a Koodo store. Most of the corporate Koodo locations should have the ability to sell over the phone.

If you aren’t getting calls, a usual suspect would be that you have accidentally blocked Koodo’s callback number in your phone at some point in time so they can’t get through to you.

Note specifically if you’re trying to cancel a line, you’ll still need to schedule a callback on Koodo assist. you should be able to almost immediately get a callback scheduled if you say “cancel” and it’ll ask what you want to cancel, and then it’ll prompt to schedule a callback.

Hi @Sam P

We are sorry to hear you didn’t receive the callback yet!

We aren’t aware of an issue with the call back system. We have just sent you a PM to confirm some more details and further assist, please check your community inbox when you get the chance!

I'm with Sam P.. Koodo's customer service has definitely gone downhill in recent years. It used to be the best. Now it's arguably the worst or close to it. Even getting through to Loyalty is an ordeal, which is insane from a customer retention standpoint. Was left on hold indefinitely ffollowing a recent callback. Ended up hanging up in frustration.. Next time I'll just vote with my wallet.

You should always vote with your wallet.

I miss the days where the plan is the plan at Koodo.  There was no need to negotiate a price or speak with retention.  But I guess everyone needs to evolve and change
