Can’t activate internet

Hello, 

Tues I switched from unlimited 60 to unlimited 120 and it says my new plan will be activated Feb 26. Well it’s now the 27 and it hasn’t changed and when I click on manage plan because it’s telling me I need to activate it I get nothing other than the msg stating it’ll activate yesterday. Anyone know what I can do other than trying to have someone call me back.

That was little strange, did you cancel the old plan and re-register for the new plan? Or was it just a simple plan switch?

You could also try to pull the power plug from your modem and router and replug to see if that can help.

Hi ​@Katie1990, we have limited access to Internet accounts but from what we can tell, the activation date for the new internet plan is February 28, not 26. We’ve asked our Internet team for more information, if we get a reply, we’ll update you here.

It was just a plan switch. Hopefully tomorrow night when I get home from work it’ll be activated.

I’ve now been hung up on twice by reps. I’m done with Koodo and its shit service, it shouldn’t be this hard to change my Internet package.

A Koodo rep above mentioned they will have more information when the internet team respond.

since today is the plan change according to Koodo internal system, have you tried to restart both modem and router to see if the new plan is applied?

Restarted both modem and router numerous time. The rep I did manage to speak with couldn’t give me an answer and just said to wait for it to become active. I didn’t think it would be this difficult just to simply upgrade my internet package.

Koodo relies on other 3rd party to upgrade your Internet though. In many cases, Koodo rep doesn't even have the tool to switch at their end.

I got transferred over to Telus and have now been on hold for almost an hour. :(
