I have also been experiencing the voiceamail delay notifications.

I will probably visit the Samsung store again tomorrow to try again. In the mean time I have filed complaints with the Better Buisiness Bureau for both Koodo and Samsung. All I want is the phone, which is under warranty, to be replaced. And if the issue persists looks like Koodo is 100% on the hook and needs to fix it  (I’ll even take the old phone back, people who get the A16 don’t care about phones) And if the issue goes away it means Samsung was in the wrong and owed me a new phone anyway. Right now Koodo is basically holding me hostage because I can’t leave without paying off the phone.

Maybe someone has a solve for this. Another SIM card will work in my device, my SIM card will work in other devices. I don’t understand that and so far neither does Koodo. Or Samsung. Thank you to all those offering advice.

It's a tricky situation. I understand why Samsung would blame koodo if they try another in the device and it works.

I also understand why koodo would blame Samsung if your sim works in another device.

Honestly we are just as confused as you are as to what could be the problem. Typically the problem follows either the sim or the phone.

Yes, an issue they could 100% identify and maybe solve by trying a new phone of the same model with my SIM card. Thank you for taking your time to respond. Max Bobby my voimails are also delayed, popping up hours after they have been left.

Update.  So to my surprise, Samsung actually  changed out my motherboard.  It took about two hours. They gave me a new backing as well.  I am happy to report no more dropped calls.   I would totally advocate for them to change your motherboard.

This is great news I hope it works for me. The telus store near me finally gave me a loaner phone (and guess what, it works fine). They are going to send mine out for repair since I don’t live close to the samsung store. It is really unfortunate that the front line employees have to take the brunt of frustration because koodo and telus don’t provide any way to escalate an unsolved problem.
