Well, after 5 days of no phone, running around, sitting in a gas station parking lot for 2 hrs waiting for a phone call from tech support that never came. I was in the parking lot because i needed a cell signal and wifi signal to be able to enable wifi calling. Went to a telus store in town to cancel my koodoo account, but the person there figured it out in 10 minutes. The porting of my number never went through correctly. I went home, and put my old shaw sim card in, answered yes when i got the text message, and everything works now. Thank you all on this forum that helped along the way.
This problem may be one to keep in the memory bank for future problems
