Account Cancelled while Abroad

Hello,

Months ago I left Canada and put my plan on a seasonal hold, I log into pay my bill and it shows me account cancelled? Not sure why, I haven’t received any emails about this.

I cannot use the expert messaging because it needs you to login to speak to  a real human and it won’t log in with a cancelled account. I have messaged multiple times on twitter and Facebook and no response. I cannot call any numbers because I am abroad using a e-sim for data and have no actual phone call services. 

Please help! I desperately need my canadian number back once I return to canada.

How long have you allowed for a response on Facebook? Every new message you send moves your question to the end of the queue. Same with Twitter. 

Generally speaking, monthly accounts should not be cancelled as long as bills are paid on time, although prepaid accounts will be shut down if the plan is inactive for 90 days.

Can you share a screenshot of what it shows when you login to self-serve? Make sure to block out any personal information as this is a public platform.

Timo is correct, unless requested to be cancelled, the number was ported to another provider, or the account was sent to collections it should not be cancelled.

Is it possible the seasonal hold has ended? When did you leave Canada? As you can only have seasonal hold for 6 months. After which service will be unavailable until you select a new in market plan.
