volte and vowifi not working

Hello I just got a new pixel 7 pro bought from Koodo online but volte doesn't seem to work when I call out it switch's from LTE+ to H then H+ and stays on H+ till I hang up then switch's back to LTE also when I try to enable wifi calling it try for awhile then says contact carrier in my add-ons it does show Koodo volte but I think that was enabled from when I was using my s7 edge which work on volte I don't see a option anywhere on the pixel to enable volte in the settings maybe I'm missing something even tried switching over to the new included some card in the box but still the same I think it's something on koodos end any help would be grateful thanks

I just put my SIM card into a Pixel 7 and VoLTE worked perfectly fine.

I am not sure if you use VoLTE on the S7 Edge or not as it wasn’t supported in Koodo document https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/volte Could you check your selfserve and see if you had the add-on “VoLTE access”? I assumed you are a postpaid customer.

Also, can you reset network settings of the Pixel 7 and see if that can help.

Hello yes volte worked with the s7 edge it was a Telus phone and it does say volte access as a add-on but it was saying that when I was using the s7 edge I just tried resetting network but still drops to h+ when calling tried a few different numbers and calling my work phone which is on the Telus network and volte works on it

It was hard to read without punctuation.

You mentioned “it does say volte access as a add-on but it was saying that when I was using the s7 edge” but I think I asked you to check your self-serve in Koodo not S7 Edge settings. Could you confirm you have the “VoLTE access” add-on in Koodo plan in Selfserve?

Yes it does say I have volte access

This is strange. I think the issue could be either phone settings or the SIM card. Have you tried to update all apps (especially the Google carrier services) and latest Android update?

thank you for your help i had to schedule a call back from koodo and they had to reset my port i think she said and now volte and wifi calling is working :)
