I have the same issue.
i won’t be able to log in some online account that use verification code generator and send it over sms as a text code. It is of course related with Koodo as I was with Rogers a never had a problem but never. So Koodo should resolve the issue immediately or I will switch back to my old provider Rogers. I see that you aren’t taking seriously our concern and seems we have to resolve them by our self, but how?’ I want to speak with an higher level at Koodo or why not even the top one, the President. Does anyone had his email address?’ Please let me know.

It's Sunday, have you tried God yet? No one higher than that…

All jokes aside, it will sort itself once the propagation has gone through properly. When did you port your number? In my case or sorted itself after about two weeks. If you can't wait that long, back to Rogers is your answer. I just hope porting your number back won't cause the same issue with them.

Hi Sophia,

I know what I am talking about and it is nothing about Sunday or something related with days. It is Koodo techtsupport that sucks a lot. They have no idea what is going on and the only advise from them was contact your websites. Do you have an idea how many website confirm the account by sending a confirmation code?! It is not that going back will be the issue, Rogers has a perfect costumer service.

The only way in which to speed that up is to reset the entire cell network force your number update to all services. I doubt very much that you emailing the president will accomplish that, unless you have powers I am not aware of.

It’s the same principle as porting an URL address to a new service provider. If you have ever done that, you know it takes time to propagate throughout the Internet. Short of rebooting the Internet, there is not much you can do.

You could try to reboot your phone a few times. Again, going back to Rogers is certainly an option too, since you had such perfect service from them 😄

I will go for whatever I think is right my me. Also, I don't think I need any approval from anyone to go whenever I like to go and complaint for Koodo. If they don't call me today and resolve the issue I will.place an official complaint.

However, no need to reply to my SMS anymore. I got your opinion, thank you.

You can try contacting Koodo’s porting center at 1-844-232-7678 and see if something went wrong or if theres something they can fix but like Sophia mentioned, it may just be a matter of waiting some time.

Ok, but what about my missing log in to a bank account? I won't be able to log in. What is the resolution here from your side, guys? Or you are just writing here to get points and not orovisng a solution. It needs to be addressed ti the right channel at Koodo Mobile, not to the community.

My resolution is to call the porting department to see if they can fix it so that you can get the 2FA texts from your bank, as said above.

Calling is your solution for now. The porting department is the right channel since you recently ported your number by the sounds of it and now number things aren’t working. Let us know if they can help fix things. If they can’t, let us know as well and we’ll go from there.
