how do I stop my phone from dropping calls?

My phone line cuts in and out and drops calls… how do I get ahold of Koodo to fix this? I’ll I’m getting is a robot which for a company this size under Telus this should not be happening!

There are many possible reason for this though. What phone are you using? At the time of dropped call, how was the signal reception in your area? Was it indoor or outdoor?

iPhone 7 and it had two to three bars and I’ve been home all day sick in bed so I’m not moving the phone around or taking it outside! I never had this issue with Telus and the fact that I can’t speak to a live technician for two days as a call back leaves me stranded! Telus would never have left me hanging that long to fix my line or network issue. I have to say this is the first time dealing with customer service via a robot with no living person and I’m disabled on top of it so I rely on my phone! It has to work so I can teach my doctor, etc.

koodo customer service right now gets two thumbs down 👎👎

it’s been about 90 days since Telus moved me by their suggestion as Koodo is under there umbrella and I need better service so this may be a good bye to Koodo! I’ll see what they say over the weekend but I need a line that doesn’t cut out as a MINIMUM requirement!

Koodo uses the exact same network as Telus. I'm surprised to hear that it is cutting out like that. Who were you with before? It sounds like you were with Telus? Ideally the early troubleshooting to attempt is to restart your phone, reinsert your Sim card, reset your network settings, reset your APN settings. I'd try these things. If it still doesn't work then let us know and we can flag a Rep
to start a support ticket.

Have you considered enabling wifi calling on your iPhone 7? You should be able to get a more stable connection. You will need to first schedule a callback through Koodo Assist to include the VoLTE add-on before proceeding. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/wifi-calling

SO MANY DROPPED CALLS. For the last few months it’s been a nightmare.
