Easy Roam - and Churn

I see the easy roam fees are per day; I am considering churning out to freedom as their international roaming is baked into some plans at no extra cost, and for inexpensive plans it’s nearly the same price for an entire month vs the koodo per day cost.

Why can’t Koodo negotiate a good deal for roaming like other carriers?
Is it because poor negotiators?
It’s certainly easy to over charge with this system, 1 call under 1 minute = 14$.
You could at least charge on a per minute basis and IF it hits 14$ cap it there instead of immediately going to 14$.

I am considering churning out on this alone. Align the costs with other carriers.

Did this help you find an answer to your question?

Koodo should have a couple Canada/US plans in self serve to change too in the $60-$65 range.
Mind you not as cheap as Freedom’s current offering but Freedom only is available in certain cities. If you live in one of those cities though, it’s a great deal that’s hard to be beat.

Nah- freedom is now nation wide - hence the consideration to churn for a better price and better features

Koodo does not have data roaming - it’s a sign of gouging or incompetence.

Koodo, which is it?

They have nationwide coverage but their fair usage policy still requires you to predominantly be using the freedom network unfortunately.

My point is, and im pretty sure you’re pushing me to churn by ignoring it;
Koodo international (us) roaming costs are too high, 14$/day is insane.

it’s built into competitors with out extra costs on mid tier plans, and its 20$/month for the cheap ones.

I guess im churning and so is my wife, thank you for convincing me by ignoring the problem
