I was worn fully charged $32 in roaming fees on my last bill just driving on the main highway near Christina lake BC. I would like the charges reversed please.

That sounds frustrating; Christina Lake is definitely domestic, so those charges shouldn’t have hit. First, check your detailed PDF bill in Self Serve (pages 3-4 show the exact charges and what triggered them, like data pings, texts, or calls).

Easy Roam kicks in automatically if your phone connects to a foreign tower (even briefly near borders), charging once activated; receiving SMS is free, but anything else (like Live Voicemail) can trigger it. Turning off Data Roaming often isn’t enough; try Airplane mode ON, data fully OFF, or SIM out next time to avoid pings. More on charges here: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/understanding-how-youll-be-charged-while-travelling.

Do the charges show up on your bill yet? If yes, I can flag a rep; they can review and potentially reverse accidental ones.

Thanks Robert, I meant to say wrongfully charged** and yes $32 has shown up on my bill it says days used (2) which can’t be correct as I was never in the US in the past few months.

Hi @Kooltree, we’ve checked the charges you mentioned and as they are accidental roaming we have added a credit to your account, you can check it out in your self-serve.

To avoid future charges please make sure that the data roaming is off in your phone settings and you are manually connecting to the Koodo network.
