I moved to the NWT from NL in April of 2023. I have kept my old NL phone number because it was just easier rather than having to change my number everywhere.
i just noticed on my bill this time that my taxes were extremely over priced because i just bought a new phone. While going through old community post it says that its because of my area code, but these post were from 2022. Is this still accurate? Is there a way i can keep my old cellphone number and not get charged 15% taxes?
