wrong first bill and no 5g booster perk to as mention by sales should have one

I get the koodo deal on nov30, sim shiped on dec 2 , got the sim on dec5. Firt bill charge from dec2. Can i get the credit back from dec 2 to dec 5. As mention by the sales i should have 5g booster perks in my plan, however nothing show up there, is there anyway by koodo manaually add to my account?

Koodo activates and charges from the moment the sim ships so that is “normal” behaviour.

As for the perk, you should be able to add it yourself. Is it giving you any errors when you attempt to do so?

You can justnot get a bill credit for the period Dec 2 to Dec 5 because your service activation date is considered Dec 2 when the SIM shipped; billing starts from activation date, not delivery.

For the 5G booster perk promised by sales, if it does not appear on your account, Koodo does not automatically add perks manually; have you tried adding it yourself?

Nope.  Koodo charges upon activate (when it ships)

As mention by the sales i should have 5g booster perks in my plan, however nothing show up there, is there anyway by koodo manaually add to my account?

When you login to your self serve, and you go to your plans and add-ons, under the Perks area, what perk is currently active?

Thanks for your prompt reply, i understod the billing process,  is there anyway to credit back the amount for the waiting period as some customers did so successfully and get the credit back. For the perks, i dont see an option on the selection it only  shows rollover data, unlimited sms, unlimited LD, i am curious that if 5g booster perk could be added by your side?

If you don’t see it listed under your plan perks (in Self Serve → View Rate Plan → Included Add‑ons), then it likely didn’t get attached properly. Customers should be able to add the 5G Speed Boost perk themselves in Self Serve, but if the system isn't working properly (which has been the case), then a Koodo rep needs to apply it manually

For billing credits due to SIM shipping or activation delays, there is no public self-service option to get a credit for days before receiving service. If you want, I can flag a rep for you to review credit eligibility and the 5G booster perk issue on your account.

If you plan does not qualify for the 5G booster, then it wont be available.  Did you sign up for Koodo over the phone?

We have looked into it and your current plan is not eligible for 5G speed boost perk. Only one of the following can be selected: Premium Voicemail, Unlimited International SMS, Rollover Data, Unlimited Long Distance

 

Regarding the activation, the billing starts when the sim is shipped. If woud like to dispute the charge further, you can schedule a call back with the virtual assist or send us a message on Social media
