Why does my monthly mobile service fee go up? I am on a contract period

Hi,  this month, my mobile service fee is up. I am on a contract period and should the fee be fixed?

when you review the detailed PDF bill, what seems to be the increase in cost? Did something go up in price or has a credit gone away that was there before?

Check your latest bill notice; Koodo sometimes announces plan rate increases (e.g., $34 to $46 starting March 2026) even on contracts. Any monthly credits or PAP setup? Log into Self Serve to confirm Tab balance and contract end date. If it looks off, reply with details.

i checked last bill notice and see the Koodo notice about the rate increase. The fee increased $7(before tax). Why?

Interesting. This happened to somebody else recently and the result was that the price was only going up for month-to-month customers, however, they still received the notice. Though yours has actually increased.

To confirm, when you check your tab balance in self-serve does it still show a tab and tab bonus owing? If it does, I will flag a rep on here to investigate as this is not the first time this has come up. You’re correct, the price should not increase when under a contract term. If there is none left owing, then the contract has ended.

My Tab Bonus balance is negetive.

Make sure you’re logged into the community using your Koodo Self-Serve credentials and they should be able to bring up your account. Their response times can vary, but they will respond here as I have. 👍
