Unexpected $130 International Charge to Australia – Assistance Needed

Hi Community,

I just received my latest bill and was shocked to see a $130 charge for calls made from Canada to Australia. I honestly thought international calling to Australia was included in my plan and didn't realize it was being billed at the pay-per-use rate.

I’ve been a loyal Koodo customer and this was a genuine misunderstanding. I now see that Australia is one of the 27 countries included in the "Unlimited International Long Distance" perk. I didn't have this perk active at the time.

Is there any way a Koodo rep could help me with a one-time goodwill credit or retroactively apply a long-distance discount to help reduce this bill? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
