Unauthorized Removal of Pre-Authorized Payment

Hi Koodo Team,

 

I noticed that my pre-authorized payment was removed on February 10, 2026. I did not request this removal, and as a result, I lost the associated pre-authorized payment discount.

 

Please explain why this was removed without my consent and let me know how you can restore my pre-authorized payment and the lost discount.

Hi ​@Jungmindo, if there is a payment backout or failure the payment method will be removed automatically. We can see you were able to register for pre-authorized payments again. 

You can also check if there is anything due under the ‘Pay now’ section in your self serve. We can confirm there is nothing currently owing on your account.

Is your credit card expired? Did the pre-authorized payments fail twice? If that happened, the auto-pay discount will no longer apply to the next bill. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/auto-pay-discount
