Switching to monthly payment wih new phone and same phone number

I am switching my daughters Koodoo phone from prepaid to monthly bill as I got her a phone with a plan instead through Koodoo as well. When I set up for the phone and monthly bill it asked if I was brining her own number I said yes, does it just do it automatically when you put the sim card in? How do I stop the prepaid payments and switch to the monthly one. And it would be nice if koodoo actually had live people you can speak with because this is ridiculous.

There should be a Fast Switch Self Serve Option on your Self-Serve account to switch from a prepaid to postpaid account. It is the easiest way without too much hassle. You will be able to keep your phone number, SIM card, and payment method. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/moving-prepaid-postpaid-monthly-service

I already have the new phone and we put her sim card in and it works fine, but now I have her pre paid monthly amount coming our and her monthly plan with the new phone too.
