Roaming fees with

With my existing coverage while travelling in the USA i was charged an $18 roaming fee, possibly because I was close to Mexico border and connected with Mexico tower, but that should correct itself should it not?

I was not in Mexico with telephone.  Otherwise my existing plan should cover usage of my cell phone while in the USA.  Where do I get customer service for this roaming charge correction?

Hi @TerlynW

We have looked into it and we have been able to remove the charge since it was accidental roaming.

We recommend in the future switching to manual network and selecting a US network when close to the Mexico border.

Did the extra $18 fee show up on your latest bill yet? Typically, a Koodo rep will check the tower connection history to confirm whether you were actually in Mexico. If you weren’t, they usually issue a credit for the accidental roaming charge.
