roaming cahrge

Hi I live close to the states but not that close. Got roaming charge but I didn’t leave my country. I would like to get reversed the charge. Please someone help! Thank you!

We verified the day with the charge and confirmed accidental roaming. A credit was applied for the fee and will update within 3-5 minutes in the Self Serve account. 

Sometimes the device is going to catch the network on the other side.

It's a world-wide situation, since the device settings are set to automatically search for the strongest signal.

You can follow the steps mentioned by ​@Dennis  and from the link shared in order to avoid future similar fees.

When you login to your self serve and download your detailed pdf ebill, do you see a line charge for Roaming there?

To prevent this in the future, you can change your network settings from Automatic to Manual and then select Koodo.  Note that you may need to reapply this setting after a phone restart
