I join koodo on Nov 29,2024 and submitted my referral claim on Nov 30,2024. However I never get the $5 credit. I email Koodo to find out why. They told me my request was declined because it was over 30 days claim period. They told me the claim offer date was Nov 19,2023 and my claim was submitted on Nov 30,2024. It does not make sense to me. Koodo agent told me on Nov 29,2024, it had a referral offer for $5 for 5 months. So in 2024 November has referral program. Why Koodo keep saying the claim offer date is Nov 19,2023. I never be a Koodo customer. I am new sign up on Nov 2024. Why I am now eligible for the referral credit. I was back and fore email with Koodo and they only tell me the claim offer date is Nov 19,2023. Declined my claim. Anyone here can help? I really appreciate. Thanks

I received the referral link on Nov 30,2024 and I did receive and confirmation email from Koodo and tell me sit tight . I can forward the confirmation email to you, please let me know the email address I can forward to. Thanks

Since you joined Koodo prior to starting the referral process you do not qualify.  You must complete the referral in this order:

What does my friend need to do to redeem the referral?

  1. Tell your friend they must redeem the offer (by entering their name and email address on koodo.com/refer) before they activate their service with Koodo. 
  2. Then your friend buys a phone or SIM card and activates on a postpaid rate plan.
  3. After activation, your friend needs to log back into koodo.com/refer and provide their mobile phone number (but if they are porting a number over from another carrier, they should wait until it has ported successfully).

When did your friend send you a referral email to you?


My friend Jacqueline sent me the referral link on Nov 30,2024. I did tell you people in my history. Let me tell you the whole story again and you can share with Dennis and another agent. You are the third agent due with this case. 
1. I join Koodo on Nov 29,2024

  1. I submitted my referral claim on Nov 30,2024 and received a confirmation email to tell me sit tight. 
    3. My friend  Jacqueline is existing Koodo customer. 
    4. I am the one referred by my friend NOT refer other people to join Koodo.

Hi Dennis , this is not the Mobile Klinic agent told me. She told me to enter my email and Koodo phone number on the referral link after sign up the plan and get the number using my friend’s referral link. Now you telling another procedure. I really fed up with all the reasons to provide. Just for $25 statement credit. I give up and it give very very bad experience with Koodo. To whoever want to join Koodo, I will tell them to reconsider it. I already spend almost whole day dealing with you support people. Everyone give me different reason to decline my claim. You can save that $25 which I no longer care.  You have a nice day .

 


To be fair, I am not telling you the procedure.  This is the procedure that is on the Koodo refer-a-friend Terms and Conditions and Rules.  I am only pointing you to the link of the rules.

 

Within the Terms and Conditions Koodo also covers their butt for anything that may go wrong.

In that case you should educate your sales agent tell customer the  procedure from the book. I know you not telling me the procedure, you just read from the book. Anyway, I really appreciate you spent time on the book better than the other 3 agents gave me the strange  answer.  Anyway, I have a  very very bad experience with Koodo .
